What's New Once again Liberty Tax Service will be donating their services by offering free tax preparation at the Shorewood-Troy Public Library. This is free for all members of the Shorewood community with basic/simple tax preparation needs. Bring all income-related documentation to your prescheduled 45 minute appointment. The service includes free e-filing. Call the library 815 725-1715 to schedule a Wednesday appointment from 12-4. Service runs every Wednesday from February 24th thru March 31st. Our newsletter,  Reading Between the Lines,is published quarterly and is also available in print at the library.  Visit e-pay, an innovative, secure, convenient way to make online payments for Fines and Fees, Program Fees, Room Rental and Gifts and Donations. The Great Read is a program put on by the Shorewood, Joliet, Plainfield, and Bolingbrook libraries to promote literacy, reading, conversation and community. Programs and celebrations are centered around a book chosen each year. This year, the novel is Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea.
