What's New at Your Library

Window Replacement Update
The Board voted at its July 17th board meeting to award a contract to Continental Construction to replace the building's 2 story picture window with an in-fill of drywall, bricks, and large windows. The cost is not to exceed $80,000. The replacement is being done as a result of a structural analysis, conducted in 2013, which indicated that the window could be at risk of significant damage during large-scale weather events.

The project is slated to be done in October 2014. For safety reasons, the Library will be closed several days during the demolition phase. No dates have been scheduled yet, but we will do our best to provide as much advance notice as possible of library closures, and program cancellations. We appreciate your patience!
