Home Delivery ServiceOur Home Delivery Service delivers books, large print books, audio books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs straight to your home. We offer long-term service for seniors and other individuals who are physically unable to get to the library as well as short-term service for pregnant mothers and for individuals recovering from illness or injury.
This service is available to all homebound individuals holding a Shorewood library card. Eligible patrons include senior citizens, the injured or ill, late-term or post-pregnancy mothers, & people with disabilities. Delivery will be every two weeks on Thursday afternoons. If you are unavailable at that time, the materials will be left in a previously designated spot at your home. All materials are delivered in a weatherproof library bag.
If you or someone you know would benefit from our Home Delivery Service, please contact the library by phone or email. Our Outreach Librarian will set up an initial consultation to discuss the delivery service, your interests, and favorite books or authors.
Brochures and applications are available at the circulation desk and youth services. To print an application at home, click here. We are ready to bring the library to you!
