Getting a Library Card
Library cards are available at no cost to those living in the library district. If unsure to which library district you belong, a district boundary map is available here.

Children must be at least 5 years old to receive a library card. Children 5-17 need a parent or guardian to fill out the card application.

To receive a library card, patrons must present:

  • One ID with current name and address AND
  • ONE other form of documentation
The library is also able to register library patrons from Plainfield and Joliet library districts.

Contact the Circulation desk if you have any questions or for more information.
